ZAHA HADID

The 31st March 2016 one of the most important figures of contemporary architecture passed away.

Zaha hadid was an icon and an inspiration for countless architects all over the world, and her death has left a void in the world of architecture.

Due to her style of architecture she was nicknamed "Queen of the Curve".

She is, undoubtedly, an inspiration for both me and many women who wish to pursue a career in the built environment.

MY TRIP TO LONDON

I recently visited a friend of mine in London. During my stay I noticed various pieces of architecture that intrigued me. The pictures below will give you an in-depth look into London architecture.

Although this is not a building, it's nice how this door has been made to look different and intresting through recycling beer bottle caps.

ÁINE IN WONDERLAND

Hello everybody,

a few days ago I woke up particularly inspired, so I asked a dear friend to help me with a project I had in mind.

The project was inspired by Alice in Wonderland,written by English author Charles Lutwidge. It tells a tale of a girl named Alice falling through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre. My project was based on modified photographs that recall some details of the beloved Disney cartoon version.

THE MAGIC OF COLOUR

In the design sector, colour power is not something to be underestimated.
In the below examples you will be able to see how colours can make a building really fascinating.
An interesting feature of these buildings is how interior and exterior are connected to each other, giving a notable rainbow effect.
